Feeling Free To Look Within

It's time to let that go my dear.

Allow that thing, that situation, that person that has been holding you back be released into the world/ethers/air/whatever so that you don't have to hold onto it anymore.

As you know I have been doing A LOT of work on myself lately. Growing is not easy when it goes against the grain of society, your family or anything that you've gotten comfortable in.

So many people have been quoted stating that no growth happens within your comfort zone. This is true and also has to be seen through gentle eyes.
This is NOT an accusation.
This is NOT the start of a shame cycle.
This is a learning opportunity, and this is how I'm seeing my last 15 months.

Sometimes we have to sit in the mucky stuff in order to come out like a Phoenix from the ashes. You might not know what the other side looks like, but what you do know is how you want to feel.

"Follow the feeling" is something I can be heard saying all the time to the people I work with. I sometimes even say it to family or friends. Figuring out that it's not longer necessary to drag all that 'stuff' with you that for some reason you've been holding onto, or that someone else placed upon you, is the first step. Then you can connect with what it would feel like to let that 'stuff' be laid down right where you're standing and never picked back up again.

If you didn't sigh right there at the end of the above paragraph, take a moment. Think of something that you want to lay down that you do not want to pick back up. Take your time...

Now what's the first thing that came to mind?
What might be a first step to letting that thing/person/situation go?
*Remember, you don't have to know all the steps, you just have to know what an end goal is. (And let me just say, that end goal can shift as you go along your path of letting things be released. We change and so do our goals. The feelings however, are our guide!)

I have been recently purging 'stuff' from my life both spiritually, emotionally and physically. It has been a lot of work and quite often I'm exhausted, and it's been soooo worth it!

Here's a picture of our master bedroom...

And here's a snippet of the back story...
In February we had a truck run into the bedroom wall. Because insurance is involved everything is going at a snail's pace.
I was getting frustrated and then through my emotional work realized that if they/the workers were not going to use the room, then I was!
I hired my Skye to help me take AAALLLLL of the papers and books out of my office and I am now purging what does not need to stay. There are academic papers there from my graduate studies 14 years ago! There are books that I know I will not read or even open again. They are all going to the thrift store or recycling!

This purging has been so therapeutic.
I'm happier because the space is being used, and I'm feeling freer to look within because I'm physically aware of what I'm holding onto.

Phew...
yes, it's a lot of work and it is SO WORTH IT!

I Love you SOOOOOO much!
Thank you for reading and thinking about how much you're doing for yourself so you feel like who you are on the inside.

Peace, Joy and Love to you,
Leanne Rose

PS - Happy Full Moon! May 15/16th is a powerful full moon eclipse in Scorpio that is all about letting that 'stuff' be released. Write out what's bugging you and burn it or sit by a fire and let the smoke take your frustrations away. This full moon eclipse will set you up for the energies of the rest of the year!
